Built to be usable by everyone.

A tool meant to level the playing field should work for every person who needs it. We build Be Your Own Broker to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What that means here

• Every page uses semantic structure and landmarks, with a skip-to-content link.
• The site is fully operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text and interface colors are checked to meet AA contrast ratios.
• The calculator's inputs are properly labeled, and its results are announced to assistive technology as they update.
• Animation respects your reduced motion system setting.

Honest limits

Accessibility is ongoing, not a checkbox. This is a self-assessment, not a certified audit, and no site is ever perfectly accessible. If something gets in your way, that's a bug we want to fix.
